A decision on the bail application of MP Namal Rajapaksa in the Krrish deal case is scheduled to be delivered this afternoon.
Namal Rajapaksa was brought to the court premises by prison authorities earlier this morning.
The bail application, filed on grounds of his parents’ ill health, was previously heard by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama, who scheduled today for the final order.
Namal Rajapaksa faces several charges, including allegations that he received a bribe of Rs. 70 million from the Krrish Company through its director, Janaki Siriwardhana.
