Three people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of two individuals in front of a restaurant in Kalutara on the 9th of this month.
The arrests were made by officers of the Kalutara District Crime Investigation Division.
Police said the suspects, who are residents of South Kalutara and Agalawatta, were arrested on allegations of aiding and abetting the double homicide.
During the operation, officers recovered one gram of “Ice” (crystal methamphetamine), a stolen three-wheeler and two mobile phones from the suspects’ possession.
