The Colombo High Court has scheduled November 4 as the next hearing date in the corruption case filed against Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dassanayake and another accused.
The case relates to allegations that Dassanayake, while serving as Chief Minister of Uva Province, misused Rs. 1 million obtained for the distribution of school bags to schoolchildren.
