Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and former Krrish Group Executive Director and business personality Janaki Siriwardena have been further remanded until October 16 in connection with the controversial “Krrish” deal.
The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama after considering submissions made by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and attorneys representing the suspects.
The court also stated that a decision on the suspects’ bail applications will be announced on October 16.
