Jaffna District MP Dr. Ramanathan Archchuna was granted release on two personal bail bonds of Rs. 1 million each after being arrested in connection with a protest incident in Colombo.
He was taken into custody when he arrived at the Fort Police Station to provide a statement regarding allegations that he verbally abused a police officer during a satyagraha held in the Fort area.
