Engineer L. Kumudu Lal Bogahawatta has been officially appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Water Supply. The appointment letter was presented to him this morning (13) at the Presidential Secretariat by Presidential Secretary Nandika Sanath Kumaranayake.
Prior to this role, Bogahawatta was serving as the Chairman of the Urban Development Authority. His appointment comes following the recent Cabinet reshuffle by the President, which saw Susil Ranasinghe take office as the new Minister of Housing, Construction, and Water Supply.
