Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara is set to return as head coach of Rajasthan Royals following the departure of Rahul Dravid.
Sangakkara, who has served as the franchise’s Director of Cricket since 2021, has already begun planning for the 2026 IPL season, according to ESPNcricinfo.
During his tenure, he has also doubled up as head coach, guiding the Sanju Samson-led team to the playoffs twice in four years.
